 Students in grades K-6, from beginners to advanced players.
This is a great opportunity to learn chess in a structured and fun environment.
Students will learn strategy, cool openings, and all the tools to get ahead in the game.
 Registration Fee $219, ($199 before 4/30)
$10 discount for siblings

 CAMP PROGRAM:
This camp is recommended for chess club players and all young players who like to play chess, from beginner to advance students. The emphasis will be on having fun, playing challenging chess games throughout the day, and learning basic chess theory.
Students will learn to play games with different time controls, play with clocks, and learn to record the games (for beginners group).
Classes on: Opening Theory,  Middlegame and Endgame studies, and Solving Puzzles.
A great way to prepare for scholastic fall chess season!
Closing and Award Ceremony around
3:00 p.m. on the last day of camp.

DAILY SCHEDULE:  Arrival from 8:30 to 9:00:00 a.m.

During the day students will have plenty of time to play outside.

9:00 - 11:45 Classes: Opening,  Middlegame, and Tactics.
Breaks every 30 - 45 minutes.
11:45 - 12:30 Lunch and activities outside.
12:30 - 3:00 Tournament games and play outside.
Tournament (not rated; 2 games a day)

Blitz tournament (for advanced/intermediate players)

Bughouse Tournament (last day of summer camp)
3:00 - 3:30 Games overview with students and Puzzles solving class.
3:30 Students Pickup
