 Students in grades K-6, from beginners to advanced players.
This is a great opportunity to learn chess in a structured and fun environment.
Students will learn strategy, cool openings, and all the tools to get ahead in the game.
 Registration Fee $199; special $175 before 5/2/201

CAMP PROGRAM:
This camp is recommended for chess club players and all young players who like to play chess, from beginner to advance students. WGM Elena will be teaching chess strategies in the morning; students will play games afternoon

 

Classes on: Opening Theory,  Middlegame and Endgame studies, and Solving Puzzles.
Students will learn to play games with different time controls, play with clocks, and learn to record the games (for beginners group).
The camp will be great for novice students to learn chess moves and rules.

 

DAILY SCHEDULE:  Arrival from 8:30 to 9:00:00 a.m.

During the day students will have plenty of time to play outside.

9:00 - 11:45 Classes: Opening,  Middlegame, and Tactics.
Breaks every 30 - 45 minutes.
11:45 - 12:30 Lunch and activities outside.
12:30 - 3:00 Tournament games and play outside.
Blitz tournament (for advanced/intermediate players)

Bughouse Tournament (last day of camp)
3:00 - 3:30 Students pickup

Closing and Award Ceremony around 3:00 p.m. on the last day of camp.
