Have summer fun, meet friends, learn and play chess!

The game of chess is an activity that brings excitement and challenge. It combines art and sport. This camp will benefit every child, from a novice to a club player. Several studies around the world had shown that students who play chess improve academic grades.  We organize our camps in local elementary schools so students can have quality time outside during the breaks. Even youngest kids enjoy participating in chess activities for the entire week. Many of our students come back to the camp year after year. CAMP PROGRAM

We will be using Chess Academy curriculum in all our camps, with our 30 workbooks for all levels and topics.

Two years ago we introduced our special chess curriculum for students K-6 Chess Academy.  We will offer workbooks to all students during the camp, and they can solve as many as they are interested. Students need to complete their current workbook to get the next one. This way students always will be challenged. Parents are welcome to check no students daily activities in the class.

This camp is recommended for chess club players and all young students who like to learn and play chess.
We design all activities based on students level, age, interest.
The emphasis will be on fun and challenge playing chess games throughout the day games and learning basic chess theory.
Students will learn playing games with different time controls, playing with clock, learning to record the games (for beginners groups),
Classes on Opening Theory;  Middlegame and Endgame studies; Solving Puzzles;
Lots of breaks for play outside! Chess sets will be provided; Students need to bring a sack lunch; Drinks, snacks, and soup cups will be available during the breaks.
