In the class we will (depends on a level) study openings, endgames and other strategies, also go over games played in tournaments. Prepare questions for the class and email me.

Tournaments are an important part of instruction, you have to play in some or all tournaments, regular and blitz, for all levels, so that we keep the groups playing together, it is very challenging and benefit all of them the most. I will be present at most of tournaments to watch students play.  It is a good place to ask me any questions about your child, including chess questions about games and moves. We will have a separate room for our students. Parents can watch blitz games.

All B&G tournaments will have regular games (Entry fee $20) and Blitz ($15) thereafter.

Time control for regular games G/25 for Beginners/Intermediate (5 rounds), G/45 for advanced  (quads). For a blitz tournament it will be a minimum of 8 blitz games.
