Four moves Checkmate

 

Some coaches teach how to avoid this opening but the best way is to learn how to defend against it.

 

1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6?? 4.Qxf7 #

 


                              Checkmate

 


Move 3…Nf6?? is a mistake. The correct move is 3…g6

 

There will be one more challenge ahead to avoid checkmate:

1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Nc6 3. Bc4 g6 (good defense)  4.Qf3! Nd4??

 


                            White moves

 


The correct move was 4...Nf6.  5.Qxf7  #

 

The other way White can go for Four Move Checkmate:

1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nc6 3. Qh5 Nf6 4.Qf7 #

If you noticed Bishop and Queen’s moves were transposed. Here the 3…g6 was a correct move.

 

The first option for  Four Move Checkmate is more dangerous since after

1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Black has to avoid another common mistake in for  Four Move Checkmate Opening

1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 g6?? After 3.Qxe5 Ne7

 


                             White moves

 


4.Qxh8 White wins a Rook.
